- Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport (HRE). Harare's airport handles most international arrivals to Zimbabwe and lies south-east of the city, reached by car or arranged transfer.

- Rooms are in shorter supply than in the South African cities, so the earlier you book, the better. For getting about, the airport run included, arranged hotel transfers and pre-booked taxis are the dependable choice.
