Ticket ballots are now open. Enter the official venue ballots for the chance to purchase Men's Ashes 2027 tickets.

The ECB has confirmed the principal ticket ballot timeline for England's 2027 home internationals, which includes the Men's Ashes. Individual host venues may also operate their own membership and priority arrangements that run ahead of, or alongside, the central ballot.

Ticket Status

The official England International ballot is now open. It opened on 2 September 2026 and closes on 29 September 2026.

Successful ballot applicants will be allocated a purchaser window in October 2026, in line with the official ECB ballot process. The first window runs 1–5 October 2026. Remaining tickets are then available to successful ballot applicants from 6 October 2026.

Any remaining tickets are scheduled to enter general sale on 14 October 2026, subject to availability.

Some venues have separate membership or priority arrangements that run before the central ballot. Trent Bridge member sales opened on 3 August 2026. Tickets are currently available to all 2027 Nottinghamshire members — this is not yet general public sale.

  1. 3 August 2026
    Trent Bridge member sales begin. Supporters holding qualifying Nottinghamshire memberships can purchase tickets for the First Test ahead of the central ECB ballot. Refer to official Trent Bridge communications for eligibility and access details.
  2. Currently
    Available to all 2027 Nottinghamshire members. Tickets for the First Test are currently available to all 2027 Nottinghamshire members. This is not yet general public sale — refer to official Trent Bridge communications for access details.
  3. 2 September 2026
    England International ballot opens. Ballot information and access are provided through host county and venue communications, venue ticketing pages, ECB international ticketing pages, and communications sent to registered We Are England Cricket Supporters.
  4. 29 September 2026
    Ballot closes. County Cricket Club priority windows also operate between 2 and 29 September for eligible county members.
  5. 1–5 October 2026
    First ballot-winner purchaser window. Successful ballot applicants in this group receive a defined window to purchase. A successful ballot result provides a purchaser window — it does not itself constitute a booking or purchase.
  6. 6 October 2026
    Remaining tickets available to successful ballot applicants. Remaining tickets become available to successful ballot applicants. Tickets remain subject to availability and the relevant venue's terms.
  7. From 14 October 2026
    General public sale. Any remaining tickets enter general sale after the ballot, subject to availability. Purchases take place through official ECB, county or venue ticketing channels.

Understanding the Process

  1. Registering for updates is not the same as entering the ballot. Registering your interest with a venue or signing up to communications keeps you informed. It does not constitute a ballot entry or a ticket reservation.
  2. Entering the ballot does not guarantee tickets. The ballot allocates purchaser windows to successful applicants. Not every applicant will receive a window.
  3. A successful ballot result provides a purchaser window. Within that window, tickets may be purchased subject to availability and the relevant venue's terms. The window itself is not a confirmed ticket.
  4. General sale is subject to availability. Tickets that have not been purchased during ballot-winner windows will enter general sale on 14 October 2026. Availability at that point depends on what remains unsold.
  5. Venue membership and priority arrangements differ. Some venues provide access through membership or other priority products that run on their own timelines. These are separate from the central ECB ballot and vary by venue.
  6. Purchases take place through official channels. Tickets are available through official ECB, county or venue ticketing sites. Third-party resale listings are not a source of confirmed ticket availability and their existence does not indicate that official tickets have been released.

We Are England Cricket Supporters

The ECB confirms that registration as a We Are England Cricket Supporter is free. Eligible supporters may receive access to a dedicated priority window during the international ticket ballot, although arrangements and availability can vary by host venue.

Where a priority window applies, eligible supporters may receive a dedicated link or code by email. Supporters must be opted in to relevant ticketing communications to receive these details. Purchase takes place through county or venue ticketing sites.

Membership of We Are England Cricket Supporters does not guarantee tickets or priority access at every venue.

Venue-Specific Access

Each host venue may publish its own registration processes, membership access, priority windows and ticketing pages. These can differ between venues. What applies at one ground does not automatically apply at another.

Trent Bridge — First Test, 18–22 June 2027

Trent Bridge has published its own member ticket windows for the 2027 internationals. These begin before the central ECB ballot and are available to supporters holding qualifying Nottinghamshire memberships.

The England International public ballot is now open for the First Test. The ballot closes on 29 September 2026 at 23:59. Successful applicants are informed on 5 October 2026 and can purchase from 6 October 2026. Any remaining tickets may go on general sale from 14 October 2026, subject to availability. General sale is not yet open.

General-admission availability is already extremely limited for Days 1 and 2 of the Men's First Test.

Trent Bridge has published official ticket prices for the First Test.

Lord's — Second Test, 30 June–4 July 2027

Lord's (MCC) operates its own venue-specific ballot timeline for the 2027 internationals, separate from the central ECB ballot. The ballot is now open. Entering the ballot does not guarantee tickets and is not a purchase.

Edgbaston — Third Test, 8–12 July 2027

Warwickshire has officially confirmed that its 2027 adult memberships include priority access to Ashes tickets at Edgbaston. 2027 memberships become available from 2 September 2026. This is priority access connected to Warwickshire membership — it does not mean standard match tickets are on general sale.

Edgbaston has confirmed its official ticket ballot timeline for the Third Test. A ticket ballot is separate from membership priority access, from general sale and from hospitality — entering the ballot does not guarantee tickets and is not a purchase.

A maximum of 4 tickets per day applies for the Men's Ashes Test at Edgbaston. Standard match tickets are not currently on general sale.

Edgbaston has separately opened hospitality sales for the Third Test, with packages starting from £349 per person. Hospitality packages are currently available and can provide a guaranteed place before the standard public ballot process. This relates specifically to hospitality packages and does not mean standard match tickets are on general sale.

Kia Oval — Fifth Test, 29 July–2 August 2027

The Kia Oval has published its own official venue-specific ballot timeline for the Fifth Test, separate from the central ECB ballot. The ballot is now open. Entering the ballot does not guarantee tickets and is not a purchase.

The Utilita Bowl ticket timeline is now officially confirmed and the public ticket ballot is currently open. Entering the ballot does not guarantee tickets and is not a purchase.

Priority Club is sold out. Membership priority access, Priority Club, the public ballot and general sale are separate stages — standard match tickets are not currently on general sale.

Availability for the Men's Ashes Test, especially on the most popular days, is expected to be extremely limited by the ballot stage.

What Supporters Can Do Now

  • Decide which Test or Tests to prioritise and review the confirmed match schedule.

  • Review the official ECB ticket timeline and note the ballot dates.

  • Register for official communications from the ECB and the relevant host venues.

  • Review the official information published by each host venue, as arrangements differ.

  • Consider whether a venue membership or priority product is appropriate for their circumstances.

  • Avoid treating third-party resale listings as evidence of official ticket availability.

  • Avoid committing to non-refundable travel arrangements solely on the assumption that tickets will be secured.
