Mangaung Oval

Background
About the ground
Opened in 1989 as Springbok Park. The ground has been known successively as Goodyear Park, Chevrolet Park and OUTsurance Oval before receiving its current name. It hosted its first ODI in December 1992 (South Africa v India) and its first Test in October 1999 (South Africa v Zimbabwe). Bloemfontein sits at around 1,400 metres elevation, which affects conditions slightly compared with coastal grounds.
