Format

How the tournament works

  1. 01Opening Super Series: the three lowest-ranked qualifiers play; only the winner advances
  2. 02The Super Series winner joins the other 11 teams in two groups of six
  3. 03The top teams from the group stage advance to the Super 7 stage
  4. 04The top four from the Super 7 advance to the semi-finals
  5. 05The winners of each semi-final meet in the final

The format was revised by the ICC in July 2026. The full match schedule has not yet been released.
